V A Yousuf completed his Mechanical Engineering and worked as Sales & Service Engineer at esteemed organizations such as Premier Tyres and South India Wire Hobs for more than a decade. His job involved extensive travelling across the country. During this tenure, he learned how customer-care can change the retail game altogether. He wanted to revolutionize the retail scenario at his state and ventured into Bismi Gas Agency in 1984.
The gas agencies during the time were not service-oriented and that’s where Mr. Yousuf made a difference. By ensuring top-notch service to every customer at the agency, Bismi became the most preferred agency around the area. The relation that his team could build with the customers was long-lasting and prove the most precious of all. These customers still remain loyal with the agency which is nearing 4 decades of service in the area.
His understanding and success of Bismi Gas Agency inspired him to diversify into Ferrule manufacturing and distribution of popular appliances brands. Mr. Yousuf soon ventured into C & F of appliances brands. In 2003, Bismi Home Appliances began its journey near the Kaloor International Stadium, which still remains our most esteemed showroom till date.
